Field Installation Technician for Distributed Antenna Systems - Cambridgeshire

This role is for the installation of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), which involves installing mainly Coaxial cable, some fibre and accompanying components such as couplers, splitters and antennas. The DAS systems provide in-building cellular/PRM coverage throughout buildings such as shopping centres, airports, office buildings etc.

The salary is dependent on the candidate's experience, but the range will be in the region of £30-£32K

Requirements

• This role’s hours are 40 PW
• You must be a holder of a CSCS/ECS/EUSR card.
• Must be willing to work away as my client covers the UK. If a project requires our employees to stay out, it is usually on a Monday to Friday basis and accommodation is paid for by the company.
• Some projects require nightshifts (Mon-Thurs).
• Candidates should ideally be located within an easy drive to our HQ in Cambridgeshire, as they will need to attend the office on a daily/weekly basis for vehicles/materials etc.
• My client works with sensitive sites requires a certain level of Security Clearance for this role, this means the field installation technician candidate must not have a criminal record, driving endorsements such as drink/drug driving offences, or anyone who has been declared bankrupt.
• Installers - previous site work would be an advantage but not essential for the right candidate.
