Thera South West has an exciting opportunity available for a Female Support Worker to join our well-established and committed team in Stalbridge. You'll join us on a permanent basis, with full-time, part-time and relief hours available and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of£12.58 per hour.

About the Female Support Worker role:

At Thera South West every day is different. We go to work knowing that this is a chance to make incredible things happen for the people we support.

We are looking for someone to join our team of amazing support workers. You will be supporting a young lady who lives in her own home. The right applicant will enjoy swimming, spending time in the garden, listening to music and going out in the car for drives.  You will be supporting a person with Epilepsy who requires support with full care needs, the amazing smile you will receive makes it all worthwhile. You will play an important role within the family, supporting the person to maintain good relationships. If you are caring and compassionate about making a difference, we would love it hear from you.

You maybe be supporting people in their own home or out and about in their community.

What do you need to become our Female Support Worker?

  • Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
  • No previous experience or qualifications required, Free, Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided
  • Compassionate, caring, confident and resilient
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, with a high level of motivation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident, articulate, and professional
  • Keenness to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems
  • Desire to embrace our values and vision and have fun!
