FATIGUE & DAMAGE TOLERANCE ENGINEER
NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH A LEADING AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE COMPANY FOR A FATIGUE & DAMAGE TOLERANCE ENGINEER
- Circa £50/ph inside IR35
- Initial 6-month contract
- Hybrid role based in Broughton
- 35 hour working week over 4.5 days
- Overtime at a premium rate
WHO WE ARE?
We are a globally recognized Aerospace and Defence company, looking to employ a F&DT Engineer to perform and sign off Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis within our Commercial Aircraft team. The role will involve liaising with engineers and component teams to deliver design and certification materials.
WHAT WILL THE F&DT ENGINEER BE DOING?
- Analysis of metallic structures
- Compilation of F&DT certification dossiers and reports
- Approval of F&DT certification dossiers and reports
- Progress reporting to Head of Engineering
WE NEED THE STRESS ENGINEER TO HAVE….
- A background in Aerospace Engineering
- Knowledge of Wing structures preferred
- Strong knowledge of Nastran, Python scripting and ISAMI
- F&DT approval level signature
- The ability to go through a BPSS check
