Job Title: Family Support Worker
Location: Islington
Salary / Pay Rate: £26 per hour umbrella
Job Type: Contract (2 months+)

The Role

The Family Support Worker provides timely and flexible early help and family support to children, young people and parent/carers in families alongside outreach support workers in the Bright Futures teams. They work in partnership with families and engage informal and formal support networks in their communities to ensure lasting positive outcomes. They encourage resilience to enable families to build strong relationships and strategies to deal confidently with ups and downs of parenting and family life.

The Candidate

Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in early years, family support, education, health and social care etc.
Post qualifying experience as a Family Support Worker.
