Seven Social Care is looking for a Family Support Worker to fill an exclusive opportunity With Redbridge Council.

 We have opportunities available for up to 12 months and the pay is 16.04 per hour.

 The Hiring manager is looking for someone who can work 35 hours a week (various shifts available from Monday to Sunday).

The role:

As a family support worker, you will be required to plan, facilitate, and tailor to family support interventions. You must meet the diverse needs of families and children from ages of 0 to 25 years.  

Key Responsibilities:

Provide supervision of family time (contact) between children in care and their families.

Transport children to and from family time sessions.

Document observations of the sessions.

Some flexibility is required to meet the needs of this service, with a requirement to work early evenings (up to 7pm) on occasion.

The successful candidate will be innovative, creative and have the interests of the child and family at the heart of their work. 

You will be committed and motivated, ensuring that children and their families are prioritised. You will have experience of developing positive working relationships with children and families.

You will need good written skills, excellent verbal communication skills and a willingness to transport children.

  Requirements-

NVQ level 3

Valid driving licence
