Family Support Worker - Cheshire
Prospero Health & Social Care is recruiting for experienced Family Support Workers with a background in helping guide and support vulnerable children and families, to work flexible shifts and contracts in Cheshire and surrounding areas.
As a Family Support Worker, you will support families to live safely and independently in the community or family home and you will be responsible for:
- Helping families in need of practical or emotional support.
- Offer hands-on help to support parents in providing a better environment and lifestyle for their children.
- Ensuring safety for children and families.
- Empower parents and provide practical parenting advise to ensure healthy family engagement from parent to child.
- Promote healthy routines for daily living (meals, bedtimes, social)
- Documenting all observations with accuracy.
To be a successful Family Support Worker you should have:
- Minimum of six months experience working within a similar setting.
- Holder of the Right to Work in the UK.
- Driver's licence (desirable)
- Ability to complete our compliance requirements (includes DBS, References, Training)
- Level 3 Children & Young People (desirable)
