Family/Childcare Solicitor

Location: Port Talbot

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £27k - £36k p.a. (negotiable based on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

We are a well-established private practice with a significant Childcare Department, currently seeking a Family/Childcare Solicitor to enhance our team. This role is ideal for a solicitor with a passion for Child/Family Law and a proven track record in managing their own caseload and conducting their own advocacy. Our firm is dedicated to delivering exceptional service, as evidenced by our Lexcel accreditation.

Day to Day of the role:

Manage a comprehensive caseload in Child/Family Law, providing expert legal advice and representation.

Conduct your own advocacy in family courts.

Work closely with clients, offering them high-quality legal support and guidance.

Maintain and update case files, ensuring all procedures are followed and documentation is in order.

Participate in the development and implementation of client care procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

At least three years post-qualification experience in Child/Family Law.

Experience in managing a full caseload autonomously.

Strong commitment to client care and the ability to provide high-quality legal services.

Excellent advocacy skills with experience in family courts.

Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
