An exciting new opportunity to join the Family Legal Department in Yorkshire who is well known for providing a personal, high-quality service to clients. They are looking for someone who has a good understanding of family law and the ability to handle a heavy case load, with the opportunity to develop within the role, as you will be a senior member to the team.
This is a development post based on the number of enquiries being received and a wish to maximise that potential.
The ideal candidate should have:
" Up to date knowledge of legal principles and

" (Must Have) Proven competence in divorce and financial remedy work.

" To be able to produce work themselves without support/an ability to work independently. (This is something that I/we do).

" Excellent organisational planning and communication skills/displayed intelligence.

" A good sense of how a caseload works within a business plan.

" Excellent Telephone and IT Skills

Benefits:

" The salary band is pay up to £60k depending on experience

" Perm full time role

" 9am to 5.30 pm Monday to Thursdays and a 5pm early finish on Friday.

" 20 days holidays plus Stats.

Key Responsibilities:

" Conducting Civil Litigation work and supporting our Civil Litigation Partner and team or (senior post) taking charge of an existing caseload and developing that

" Speaking with and managing Clients needs professionally.

" The safe progression of a wide variety of civil court claims.

" A willingness to work in collaboration with others will also be important.
