Here we have a fantastic opportunity that has arisen: This role is with a Legal 500, leading firm in Leeds who has won multiple awards including the Legal 500 Leading Firm 2023 Award, Multiple Yorkshire Legal Awards for 2022 and is a heavy weight in the Family Law Practice area. 

If you are a Family Lawyer based in Leeds or looking to relocate to Leeds then this may be the role for you.

The ideal candidate for this role is a Family Lawyer who is NQ - 2 years PQE with experience of handling a wide range of individual, privately funded matters on a local, regional and national basis.

You will have demonstrated a strong work ethic, have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with Stakeholders and third parties

Salary: £35 - 40k DOE (Full time)

General responsibilities of the role include but is not limited to:

  • Advising and representing individuals on a whole range of family law matters
  •  Advising vulnerable clients in relation to court proceedings;
  • Deliver a client-focused and commercial service at the highest level
  • Conducting advocacy;
  • Advising upon the merits of an appeal;
  • Instructing Counsel to advise and / or to conduct advocacy;
  • Dealing with all aspects of a busy and profitable caseload;
  • Taking clients’ instructions
