Family Solicitor / Legal Executive - Cardiff

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Legal Executive or Solicitor to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients in various family law matters (Office based).
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, and domestic violence cases.
- Conduct client consultations, gather relevant information, and provide clear and practical legal advice.
- Draft legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, consent orders, and financial disclosure forms.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely communication with clients.
Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Stay updated on changes in family law legislation and attend relevant training and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Legal Executive (CILEx) or Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated experience in handling family law matters with a minimum of 1 year PQE.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service with empathy and professionalism.
