Family Solicitor/CILEX Lawyer

TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a reputable and growing law firm committed to providing exceptional legal services to their clients. We are currently seeking an ambitious Family Solicitor to join their team at the Stroud office. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate with at least 1 year PQE to play a key role in developing the Family department's offerings in the Gloucestershire region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring efficient and competent completion of work.
• Contribute to the drafting of content for legal updates and actively seek out business development opportunities through conference attendance and networking events.
• Supervise junior colleagues, assisting in their development and offering support as required.
• Deliver a high-quality service to our clients, maintaining positive business relationships and ensuring the firm is easily accessible.

Person Specification:

• Qualified Solicitor with a Minimum of 1 year PQE in a Family department.
• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of legal aid systems and advocacy.
• Experience in supervision or a willingness to take on supervisory responsibilities.
• Proficient in using data management systems and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
• Adaptable communicator with the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and courtesy.
• Panel membership is advantageous.
