Interaction Recruitment are looking to appoint a Factory supervisor on behalf of our client a leading cast wax manufacturer based in Waterbeach, Cambs.

£14ph Temp to perm with possibility of a straight perm role. 

Monday - Friday Working Hours (early shift one week and late shift the other on rotation)

Late shift

· Monday- Thursday 12:30pm - 21:00pm

· Friday 9am -15pm

Early shift

· Monday-Friday 5:00am -13:00pm


Main Purpose

The post holder will be required to oversee the production operations. You'll ensure that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

Essential Duties

· Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees (Small team of 4 operatives) 

· Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

· Oversee and train employees

· Ensure the safe use of equipment and regular maintenance is scheduled

· Check production output according to requirements

· report on performance and progress

· Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

· Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedure

· Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Requirements

· Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role

· Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools

· Organizational and leadership abilities

· Communication and interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

· Problem-solving skills

· To actively lead the implementation of H&S Policy and Management System

· Operate FLT - counter balance - Licence required (some flexibility on this)
