Do you want to join a leading UK manufacturer of away-from-home paper hygiene products based on Stafford Park, Telford?

We are looking for a permanent Factory Cleaner to join our team.

As the Factory Cleaner you will deliver a high standard of cleaning around the internal and external site, including high levels, walls, ceilings, cladding and any additional ad-hoc requests,

You will work 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 08:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

About the Role

The responsibilities of the Factory Cleaner include but not limited to:

  • Daily cleaning of factory in line with agreed cleaning route / schedule. This will include sweeping, vacuuming, steam cleaning and use of the floor cleaner.
  • Use of MEWP to carry out high level cleaning within the factory.
  • Support shift / weekly cleaning of machines when requested.
  • Emptying all bins within the factory daily.
  • Ensure general waste bins are moved outside when full and ready for collection on allocated days.
  • Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are stored correctly and safely.
  • Stock control of cleaning products and reordering when required.
  • Follow all Site Safety rules oneself and influence colleagues to do the same.
  • Highlight any improvement ideas to Line Manager with detail of the opportunity
