Train Cleaner

York

Rates :- £12.90p/h

Hours - 8pm-4am 4 days on 4 days off

Working with one of Adeccos Key clients, I'm currently looking for a Train Cleaner to join their team.

Responsibilities include:-

* Performing basic tasks related to facility services (e.g. staff for cleaning, copy, archiving, mailroom, move, janitor, caretaker).

* Performs basic facilities services, cleaning, copy, archiving, mailroom, move, caretaker or outside such as gardening, and janitorial services.

* Completes defined and described tasks and routine related work.

* Maintains grass and vegetation, including removal of snow and debris.

* Receives general direction from supervisor.

* Uses tools and power equipment, such as mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, and liquid and powder applicators.

* Keeps equipment, indoor and outdoor industrial and office sites in clean and operating condition.

Principal Accountabilities

* With minimal supervision undertake the cleaning of the allocated rolling stock to meet the requirements of the production plan, complying with all local instructions and specifications

* Under take external cleaning of the train by manual methods

* Assist other team members where appropriate

* Report all defects to Supervisor

* Underframe cleaning - site specific

* Undertake any other duties as and when required

Knowledge & Experience

* Knowledge of Health and Safety including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and manual handling

* Good communication skills both oral and written

* Knowledge of cleaning equipment and relevant chemicals
