Facilities Receptionist

- Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract until Sept 2024 (potential to extend)
- Salary: £15.49 per hour (PAYE)
- Working Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
My client an established Housing Association are looking for a Facilities Receptionist to join their team and ensure efficient operations while providing exceptional service. Your friendly demeanour and organisational skills will be key in creating a positive experience for our visitors, clients, and employees.
Day-to-day of the role:- Greet visitors warmly, answer phone calls promptly, and direct inquiries effectively.
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Issue visitor badges and maintain accurate visitor logs to ensure security protocols.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including coordinating repairs and cleaning services.
- Monitor office supplies inventory and restock as necessary to maintain smooth office operations.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the upkeep of the building.
- Deliver excellent customer service, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with general requests.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining accurate records and databases.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a welcoming attitude are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
