Facilities Operative
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where no two days are the same? Our client seeking a Facilities Operative to join their team, reporting directly to the Facilities Manager. As a Facilities Operative, you'll be the backbone of our facility, ensuring smooth operations through a range of maintenance and handy person duties based in the Bournemouth location.

Description
The main responsibilities for the Facilities Operative role are:
Working a 5-5-4 shift pattern.
- Conducting general light building/site maintenance and repairs, from scrubbing hangar floors to changing light bulbs and everything in between.
- Maintaining the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the facility to the highest standards.
- Contributing to the design and construction of ad-hoc support equipment.
- Monitoring and replenishing heating oil levels as needed.
- Escorting external contractors and visitors, showcasing our facility with pride.
- Assisting with fire alarm and legionella tests to uphold safety standards.
- Identifying and communicating any facility-related issues or needs promptly.
- Erecting and dismantling work compounds efficiently.
- Occasionally handling the collection and delivery of parts between sites, suppliers, and customers.
- Be prepared for occasional domestic and international travel as required.
