Facilities Manager
  • Annual Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and optimisation of our office environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the smooth operation of all utilities across multiple office locations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure timely delivery of services and products.
  • Oversee the purchasing process for office equipment, furniture, and maintenance supplies.
  • Manage and monitor utilities for three offices, including electricity, water, internet, and telecommunication services.
  • Review and reconcile utility bills to ensure accuracy and facilitate timely payments.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise utility consumption and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Manage tenant relationships, including lease agreements and rent reminders.
  • Ensure residential property maintenance, repairs, and inspections comply with standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper maintenance, repair, and upkeep of office spaces.
  • Manage and maintain contractual agreements with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Review and negotiate contract terms to secure favourable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Assist in site repairs, maintenance, and renovations in collaboration with contractors and service technicians.
  • Contribute to the development of any new sites that the company may establish in the future.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable terms.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in managing utilities and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Familiarity with lease agreements and tenant management.
  • Competence in handling office procurement and vendor management.
