Facilities Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for motivated Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join a globally recognised food manufacturer in Seaham. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

  • Providing both Reactive & PPM maintenance
  • Working on Compressors/Boilers/Chillers/Freezers/HVAC/Air Handling
  • Plumbing/Carpentry/Decorating/General Repairs/Pumps/Gates
  • Being involved in Project Work
  • Mechanical & Electrical Repairs
  • Adhering To All Health & Safety On Site

Skills and Qualifications

  • Facilities Maintenance Engineering Experience
  • NVQ/BTEC Level 3 In Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Food Production Experience - Advantageous
