The Recruitment Co are hiring a full time Facilities Coordinator for their client based in Perth.

Salary: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Hours of work: 37 hours per week
08.15-16.45 Monday-Thursday
08.15-13.15 Friday
30 minute unpaid break

Location: Perth


Role and responsibilities:

  • Carry out general maintenance activities in and around the site.
  • General janitorial duties.
  • Cleaning of key safety equipment (fire extinguishers, fire exit signage, etc).
  • Cleaning and painting of factory surfaces.
  • Operate cleaning equipment (hoover, ride on floor scrubber, leaf vacuum, etc).
  • Emptying of skips, scrap bags, recycling bins, cardboard baling.
  • Emptying of settlement tanks.
  • Cleaning canteen fridges, first aid room, operatate sanitising machine.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.


What we are looking for:

  • Practical skills such as painting, decorating, woodwork, basic mechanical skills.
  • Proactive and the ability to work on own initiative with minimal direction.
  • Ability to coordinate work plans with other departments to minimise disruption.
  • Communication skills.
  • Willing to pass on the job training for counterbalance forklift licence.
