As a Facilities/Compliance Officer in facilities/property management, your role involves ensuring that the organization's facilities adhere to technical standards, regulations, and asset management protocols.
Duties:
- Assist in managing the organization's assets, including equipment, machinery, infrastructure, and technology systems. This involves tracking asset inventory, assessing condition and performance, scheduling maintenance and repairs, and optimizing asset utilization.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements related to facility operations, such as health and safety regulations, environmental regulations, and industry standards. This includes ensuring that facilities meet regulatory requirements through inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to technical compliance and asset management activities. This includes maintaining records of inspections, audits, maintenance activities, equipment manuals, warranties, and other relevant documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments of facility assets and operations to identify potential hazards, vulnerabilities, and compliance risks. This involves analyzing data, conducting inspections, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist in developing and implementing maintenance plans and schedules to ensure that facility assets are properly maintained and serviced. This includes coordinating preventive maintenance activities, scheduling repairs, and managing service contracts with vendors.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers involved in facility maintenance and asset management. This includes soliciting bids, negotiating contracts, overseeing work performed by contractors, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and standards.
- Analyze data related to facility assets, maintenance activities, and compliance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. You prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders
By effectively managing these responsibilities, you help to ensure that the organization's facilities are maintained in compliance with technical standards and regulations, optimizing asset performance, minimizing risks, and supporting the organization's overall objectives.
