Salary: £45,000 basic + £6,000 commission bonus
Start Date: April (flexible)

Overview:
Parkside Recruitment are looking are for a Facades Manager to join a leading international construction solutions company, offering remote working opportunities across the UK.

Responsibilities:
  • Business Development and Technical Support:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with architects and cladding contractors.
  • Provide professional advisory services from feasibility to detailed structural design.
  • Assist clients with fixings inquiries.
Market Promotion and Expertise:
  • Effectively market and promote rain-screen cladding range.
  • Share expertise on cladding range within the marketplace.
  • Technical Specifications and Tender Submissions:
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications, structural and thermal calculations, and detail drawings.
  • Submit project tenders with detailed pricing.
Relationship Management and Training:
  • Maintain client databases and records.
  • Train sales teams and distributors.
  • Provide support to Assistant Specification Engineer.
Product Management and Compliance:
  • Introduce new products following Company New Product Launch Procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Company Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain up-to-date Company literature and website.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support procurement department with supply chain and stock management.
  • Advise sales and customer service departments on product definitions.
  • Conduct on-site testing and customer training as needed.
  • Undertake various projects/duties as assigned by Technical Manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree in structural engineering, façade engineering, or architecture with actual structural analysis/design competency/experience.
  • Preferably from the façade industry: Rainscreen/cladding systems, Curtain wall systems, Brickwork façade systems, EWI/ETICS render systems.
  • Technical duties include structurally designing rainscreen subframes, conducting FEM analysis to bespoke components with software when needed, thermal analysis of the system with software, and fixing design (training provided).
  • Other requirements include driving, presentation skills, management skills, etc.
