The Role:

We are looking to strengthen our team and appoint a Fabrication Foreman. The role will be based at our manufacturing site in Oldham and will be responsible day to day running of the fabrication department ensuring employees work in a safe and effective way and that planned work is completed correctly and on time.

As a Company we have a strong manufacturing capability and History, with over 160 years Manufacturing from the Oldham Site. The company has existing strong ties within our Sectors, supported by a strong Blue-Chip Client Base, and we look forward to developing our Team further.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day running of the Fabrication Shop. Assisting with technical aspects of jobs in all disciplines when required to do so
• Ensure all equipment required to carry out work effectively is available, and that equipment is maintained in good working order and meets with all necessary QA and H & S compliance
• Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, tidy and well organised, promote "Oldham Housekeeping" within the work place
• Ensure working procedures are followed at all times and that each job has the correct material, tooling, technical information, paperwork and that all previous operations have been signed off. Promote best method of manufacture to improve efficiencies at all times
• To control and manage the Fabrication Shop to ensure the correct standard of work is achieved and on time deliveries are met whilst promoting a right first-time culture
• Ensure all departmental documentation and or employment related documentation is completed on time all of the time
• You will be expected to work at our other site at in Sheffield on some occasions
