Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support in a Reception class at a primary school in Tamworth. This part-time position requires the successful candidate to work two days a week, specifically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The role is available immediately and is ongoing.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of a young child in a classroom environment.

Your responsibilities will include working closely with the assigned student, providing individualised attention, and assisting with their academic and social progress.

Key Requirements:
- Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a 1:1 capacity is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children.
- Knowledge of early years education and an understanding of Reception curriculum.

Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to the assigned student throughout the school day.
- Assist the student with their academic tasks, ensuring they understand the instructions and complete their work to the best of their ability.
- Support the development of the student's social skills and encourage positive interactions with their peers.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to implement tailored strategies to address the student's individual learning needs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
