Early Years Teacher

  • Salary Range: £34,568 - £51,237 per year 

We are seeking an Early Years Teacher to join our OFSTED-rated Outstanding SEN school in Bexley. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs (SEN). Our school provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can flourish, and we are looking for someone who thrives in an inclusive and supportive educational setting.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead engaging and inclusive lessons for children aged 3 to 5 years, ensuring that each child’s learning needs are met.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of learners with SEN.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants and therapists, to support student learning and well-being.
  • Foster social and emotional development through play-based learning and other child-centred approaches.
  • Assess student progress and work closely with families to support children’s learning and development at home and in school.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • A strong passion for early childhood education and a commitment to inclusive practice.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  • A creative and flexible approach to teaching that can inspire and engage young learners.
