Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful 1 form entry Primary School.

This school is dedicated to being part of the community by building strong relationships with their students and family members.

They are passionate about putting the children at the heart of every decision and action they take. They offer innovative learning environments that inspire curiosity and develop inquisitive minds.

The Role

As a successful candidate, you will be expected to work on a full-time basis across their Nursery and Reception class.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone with prior knowledge or experience working within an EYFS setting. You must bring a nurturing and calm environment to the classroom to ensure the children feel safe.

You will be expected to:

  • Use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of the children.

  • Have high expectations for the individual to succeed.

  • Create a safe environment for the pupil to learn at their own pace.

  • Manage and support the child’s needs.

  • Be adaptable with the learning opportunities.
