Your new company
Hays Education is always extremely busy working with the local schools in the Blackpool and surrounding areas, wanting to fill EYFS/KS1 supply teachers jobs on day-to-day, short and long-term placement. This would be working within mainstream schools, where you will be supporting classes left absent by the usual class teacher. We work with some fantastic schools in the Blackpool boroughs, so this could be a great opportunity for those looking for a better work/life balance or for someone looking to gain more experience across schools to find the right one for them.
Your new role
In this job role, you will be responsible for covering various KS1 classes and working with various TAs delivering pre-planned lessons. You should have good knowledge of phonics in order to help pupils progress under your supervision. The benefit of doing supply is that you get to work the days you want, you can commit to day-to-day, short-term or long-term positions. Being a supply teacher is all about being flexible and adaptable to suit the needs of your class. If this sounds like an opportunity for you, please get in touch to find out more about the roles we have on offer.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. This could be a perfect role for an NQT/ECT that is looking to gain some experience working within the primary school environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity, working in some excellent schools. You'll receive:

  • A day rate of up to from £100 per day in addition to holiday pay
