Job Title: External Account Manager

Location: Colchester

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Initiate business development calls to win new accounts and expand existing areas.

Attend external client meetings to acquire new accounts and expand relationships with current clients.

Provide support to customers by assisting with quotes, processing, and updating information.

Effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities for upselling.

Prioritise and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

Schedule customer appointments during peak periods and follow up accordingly.

Generate leads and follow up with potential clients.

Conduct outbound calls and emails to customers.

Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments within the organisation.

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

Proven experience in account management, business development, sales, or client relationship management.

Strong negotiation skills and ability to work to targets.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Adaptable personality and ability to thrive under pressure.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

Familiarity with B2B sales and lead generation processes.

Previous experience in a similar role within the industry.

Technologies:

Proficiency in relevant software and systems will be provided during training.
