We are seeking a full-time Year 4 Teacher to join the dynamic team at a friendly, welcoming primary school in the Litherland area of Merseyside. The role is to commence as soon as possible, until July 2024, with the possibility of a permanent role in September. The ideal candidate will be an experienced year 4 teacher, but we will also welcome applications from ECTs with previous experience of teaching year 4 classes.

Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Year 4 teacher to join a hard-working team as a full-time teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons for your Year 4 class. You will work in accordance with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, and science, as well as supporting the social and emotional development of the children in your care. You will also be responsible for assessing the pupils' work and using the results to inform your planning.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this Year 4 teaching role you will need to have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience working with Year 4 aged children
  • Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, especially literacy, numeracy, and science
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
