Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an independent Town Planning & Development Consultancy on the hire of a Town Planner to Associate Town Planner to their team in Wiltshire.

The company is hugely experienced and has been supporting clients across the UK for over 25 years! The ideal candidate will likely be operating at Town Planner through to Associate level with a strong understanding of the UK planning system. The company is a small business with a good balance of senior and junior staff.

In this role you will work with a range of private clients such as landowners and developers on planning applications, appeals and enforcement matters.

This is a great opportunity for someone to handle their own caseload and grow within the business, up to Director level.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • An RTPI accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline.
  • MRTPI status or working towards submitting.
  • Commensurate work experience that can come from the private or public sector.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good client liaison skills.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Solid report writing skills.
  • Understanding of the UK planning process.

Salary / Benefits

In return for your commitment and hard work, you will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary (guide of £35,000 - £50,000pa depending on seniority), flexible working, a varied workload and opportunities to progress within the business to Director level!
