Background to the opportunity

Joining a specialism for Hays that has seen significant growth and investment in the past 24 months, we are looking for people to join the team who have an interest in recruitment within the Defence and Engineering sectors. At Hays Defence we recruit for some of the UK's largest defence organisations as well as many established and expanding SME's.

Defence Project Manager | Project Planner | Electrical Design Engineer | Mechanical Design Engineer | Thermal Engineer | Systems Engineer

Role and responsibilities

Some key aspects of the role will include; Business Development with existing and target defence organisations, working closely with colleagues to identify opportunities to collaborate, searching and approaching potential candidates, identifying opportunities to promote Hays solutions, identifying and developing key relationships with clients and candidates to expand your network and place highly skilled, defence engineering candidates across the UK.

Ultimately, you will work to exceed targets to generate and fill vacancies in your technical specialism nationally, with the full and significant support of the Hays Leadership team.
