Expeditor

A global engineering business requires an Expeditor on a FTC basis. Applicants should have previous experience as an Expeditor within a manufacturing or engineering business. Experience with SAP would be highly desirable.

The Expeditor will join a large Supply Chain team. The position is available on a FTC between 6-12 months. The job is office based 5 days per week.

Specific duties of the Expeditor include:

• Placing of purchase order on SAP system
• Expedite the flow of materials between; suppliers, subcontractors and various company departments
• Supplier liaison to facilitate achievement of OTIF/OTD targets
• Coordination between suppliers and subcontractors to ensure achievement of project milestones
• Maintain procurement department data in SAP

Expeditor applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience in an expediting, supply chain coordination or purchasing role
• Familiarity with an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Experience in the use of an MRP/ERP system, ideally SAP
• Proactive, positive self-starter
• Comfortable being site-based 5 days per week.
