Exhibition Stand Builder

We are the internal recruitment partner for a local well established, manufacturing company within the events industry. Due to the continued growth and success, we have an exciting opportunity for an Exhibition Stand Builder to join the dedicated team in Washingley, Peterborough.

As an Exhibition Stand Builder, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling exhibition stands according to client specifications. This includes carpentry work, joinery, and other relevant tasks using various materials and tools.

You will be responsible for the delivery, installation, and removal of stands at event venues both nationally and internationally which will require staying away.

We are looking for an experienced carpenter/joiner to join us. Whilst knowledge of the events industry is not essential, candidates must have either carpentry and joinery, painting and decorating, or an electrical trade background.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter / Joiner or within a similar role.
• Highly organised with a keen eye for detail is essential.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Able to stay away as per business needs, including international travel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Maintain the highest standards of work, quality, and health & safety.
• Physically able to lift heavy objects and handle power tools.

Benefits

• A basic salary of up to £30,000 dependent on skills, knowledge, and experience.
• Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30. (flexibility required)
• Overtime available as per business needs - paid at time and a half.
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
