Executive Assistant
  • Location: Cambridge
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary Range: £21 per hour
  • Contract type: rolling temporary contract with the possibility to go permanent for the right candidate
  • Working hours: flexible start and end time. 3 days in the office 2 days at home 

Reed Business Support in Cambridge is partnering with a leading educational institution. They are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to the Senior members of the business. This role requires initiative, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage complex tasks and projects.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Manage complex diaries and activities, providing confidential executive secretarial and administrative support.
  • Support the management of senior leaders’ diaries and activities as required.
  • Assist with sector research, analysis, and support for project work.
  • Lead the organisation of internal and external events, including conferences and public engagement events.
  • Serve as Executive Assistant to senior-level committees, coordinating meetings, taking minutes, preparing agendas, and ensuring follow-up on action points.
  • Analyse and resolve problems or queries using established university systems and processes.
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to build excellent communication and working relationships.
  • Devise and maintain workflow systems and business processes, ensuring compliance with GDPR.
  • Contribute to projects and research to support and promote the activities of the Senior-level members' office. 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous Executive Assistant experience is essential.
  • Strong organisational, diary management and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in office software and systems. 
  • Experience in event organisation and project management.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
