This position requires a versatile educator who is passionate about cultivating creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills in students through hands-on learning experiences.

We're seeking enthusiastic teachers from Accrington and Blackburn to lead captivating lessons in both art and technology for students in Key Stages 3 and 4. The daily salary for this role falls within the range of £155 to £230, depending on your experience, qualifications, and level of teaching proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum
• Punctual and reliable
• Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
• Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
• Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
• Set homework and mark promptly
• Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
• Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
• Respond to questioning
