An exciting business with an international footprint seeks to appoint an accomplished Cost Controller to join their effective team.

Working closely and reporting into the Financial Controller, the Cost Controller will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Produce detailed daily cost tracking
  • Produce monthly cost reports and analyse data
  • Financial budgeting and control of project costs across a range of departments
  • Prepare and submit monthly accruals and contribute to the annual budget process as necessary
  • Critical review of costs and raising correction journals
  • Prepare monthly cash flows
  • Prepare and present ad hoc cost data for management as required

Person Specifications:

  • Part AAT qualified/studying for CIMA desirable but not essential as work experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures essential with a broad practical experience
  • Confident IT user including strong Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexibly by prioritising and planning workloads
