Zero-Hour Casual Exams Invigilator

Job Description

We are seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team as Exams Invigilators on a zero-hour contract basis. As an invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth conduct of examinations, maintaining exam integrity, and creating a supportive environment for students.

Responsibilities
  • Exam Setup: Assist in setting up examination rooms, ensuring that all necessary materials are in place.
  • Candidate Check-In: Welcome candidates, verify their identities, and guide them to their assigned seats.
  • Adherence to Regulations: Ensure that candidates follow examination rules and guidelines throughout the exam.
  • Distribution and Collection: Distribute exam papers and collect completed answer scripts.
  • Monitoring: Maintain a calm and quiet atmosphere during exams, addressing any disruptions promptly.
  • Security: Safeguard the confidentiality of exam materials and prevent any unauthorized access.
  • Emergency Procedures: Be prepared to handle emergencies or unexpected situations during exams.
Qualifications
  • Reliability: Punctuality and commitment are essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to small details.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a respectful and professional demeanour at all times.
  • Flexibility: Availability during exam periods (including mornings, afternoons).

  • Contract Type: Zero-hour contract.
  • Hourly Rate: £12.80 per hour.
  • Location: Maidstone.
  • Start Date: Immediate.
