Draig recruitment are hiring exam invigilators to work part-time in Secondary schools across Flintshire. Applicants should have previous experience working in a school and ideally trained in exam invigilation and / or scribing. Full exam invigilation training can be provided as long as you have some experience of working with children or young people.

Hours are part time, paid a min of half of a day rate. Pay is £12-£13.48 per hour. Exams can run between the months of January, February, May, June, and December.

To be considered for this role you will need to:

  • Support the exams team
  • Prepare the exam room
  • Report any incidents
  • Follow school exam policy, students sat in correct seats, removal of mobile phones
  • Ensuring the exams run in a timely manner
  • Supervising students throughout their exams
  • Collecting exam papers and tidy up the room after the exam is finished
  • Scribe experience would be an advantage to support children with additional learning needs

Additional requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • References confirming suitability for role
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willing to apply
  • Safeguarding training or willing to take a free course with us
