Reed FE are a leading recruitment agency working with colleges, prisons, universities, and training providers across the East and West Midlands, Cambridge, and Wales. We are always looking for talented/aspiring lecturers, tutors, and assessors to join our team and help us deliver high-quality education to learners of all ages and backgrounds, in different disciplines and levels.

We are working with one of the largest further education providers in the UK, with eight campuses across Birmingham to recruit Exam Invigilators for the upcoming exam season.

Online training will be provided and is mandatory. Invigilators must also hold a DBS certificate that is registered on the update service.

Job Title: Invigilator

Position: Part-Time

Role type: Temporary

Location: Birmingham

Rate: £12.83 including holiday pay

The main duties for invigilation are:

  • To conduct examinations in accordance with the JCQ, awarding body and the college’s regulations & instructions
  • Have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examinations/assessment process
  • Setting up exam rooms
  • Distribute exam materials
  • Start the exams and supervise students at all times during the exams
  • Record any incidents, disruptions or irregularities
  • Check students names match the details on the register
