Job role: Exam Invigilator

Location Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: £90 – 110 per day

We  are needing a bank of examination invigilators for the upcoming exam season! With on-going school assessments taking place on a regular basis and the requirement for the schools to provide up to date data, we need Invigilators that can be flexible for work opportunities. All exams are planned in advance, so prior notice will be given.

The role will be to work either on a one to one basis or monitor whole group exams. Training will be given if required.

We have following shifts available 

• Full Day  (08:30 – 15:30)
• Half Day:  (08:00 – 11:30 or 11:30 – 15:30)

Some of your main duties will include:

• Providing clear instructions and guidance to the candidates before, during, and after the exams.
• Maintaining a quiet and orderly environment in the exam room.
• Dealing with any queries or issues that may arise during the exams.
• Collecting and securing the exam scripts and other materials at the end of the exams

Requirements of the role:

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
• A full checkable work history
• Familiar with exam invigilating but not essential (training can be provided)
• Availability during exam periods
