Events Producer / Manager - Global Corporate

The Opportunity

How do you fancy leading and managing a variety of live events (from AGMs to capital markets days, brand relaunches to strategy and critical comms days) for one of the leading global corporate companies?

From concept and development, through to production and delivery you will work on events that span in-person, virtual and hybrid. You’ll be involved in helping the events department to grow, managing the roster of clients, project managing all the finite details as well as the bigger picture, implementing all creative development on events, and have a tight grasp on budgets, spend and expectations.

It’s a client facing role where you’ll be working within a very well-structured internal team and coordinate with both internal stakeholders and external clients. It really is a brilliant opportunity!

The Role

  • Support the growth plans and event offering, with the aim to win business through a variety of channels.
  • Prepare and write effective proposals, statements of work, and event pitches.
  • Manage clients and taking responsibility for the quality of service and successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop relationships with clients to broaden the range of event work and provide best solutions.
  • Network and build strong relationships with all levels of people, especially key decision makers.
  • Onsite and offsite management and client handling of the full spectrum of events for clients.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of meetings and events from concept to event to archive.
  • Ensure events are delivered to brief and client budget whilst managing changes and finance processes.
  • Assess the technical requirements of events to ensure compatibility with venues and potential costs.
  • Plan and manage the resourcing of upcoming projects; identify pinch points and gaps in the schedule.
  • Manage the database of suppliers and contractors who can provide additional support.
  • Coordinate lighting, sound, video, set and staging, electrical infrastructure for all events.
  • Continually review processes to ensure best practice is followed and maximise client satisfaction.
  • Work with design studios, film team, creative technologists and other teams as and when required.

The Person

  • 10 + years proven track record in running in-person, hybrid, virtual and on-demand streaming events, ideally for corporate or large-scale companies.
  • Have a proven ability to operate effectively in a highly pressured live event environment.
  • Possess excellent organisational, planning, management, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Have proven leadership skills with experience of staff and crew management.
  • Have a good knowledge of AV production tech; lighting, video, sound, streaming and broadcasting.
  • Have an appreciation of presentation technology and theatrical stage craft for delivering live events.
  • Be clued up on latest developments within all areas of live events (branding, set theming, VR, AR, AI, web and film, and auditory and sensory landscapes etc.)
  • Understand media servers, web compression technologies, and browser compatibilities.

The Details & Perks

  • Permanent contract.
  • £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
  • Based central London, hybrid working with majority of time in office / at events.
