Ashfield District Council have a great opportunity for an Events Officer to join us in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £36,648 to £39,186 per annum (pay award pending).

Are you an Events Officer experienced in managing events and contractors delivering events? Are you excited about delivering a great experience for event goers? If so, this is the role for you. Join us and help us deliver and develop our new and exciting events programme.

Our focus is to look forwards and make positive change, as a result, there are so many great things happening across the district, including our new, comprehensive and expanded events programme.

Whilst we’ve put on an excellent range of free events for Ashfield in previous years, the future programme has been expanded and is packed full of events, including the return of the Ashfield Show. This role will be critical in delivering the programme successfully to our residents and visitors and helping ensure Ashfield is a great place to live and visit.
