The organisation is a recognised not-for-profit entity with a large workforce of dedicated professionals. Their mission is to provide support for individuals within the grocery industry. Headquartered in Sandhurst, they operate nationally and have a strong reputation for their impactful work.

Description

  • Plan, develop and execute a range of events that align with the organisation's objectives.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth operation of events.
  • Manage budget allocation and ensure events are delivered within financial parameters.
  • Coordinate with marketing team to promote events and drive attendance.
  • Ensure all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and technical requirements are managed effectively.
  • Track event outcomes and provide post-event reports for review.
  • Identify opportunities for new events and initiatives that support the organisation's mission.
  • Ensure all events adhere to health and safety regulations.

Profile

A successful Events Manager should have:

  • Events agency background would be great!
  • A degree in Event Management, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering successful events.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial planning.
  • A strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
