A beautiful countryside hotel is looking for a skilled Events Coordinator to join their team in Reading on a full-time basis. 

You will have basic knowledge of Outlook, email, Excel, and Word. They are looking for someone who is confident speaking with clients and has their own transport.

This is an excellent opportunity to channel your coordination skills whilst enjoying the amiable atmosphere of their hotel!

About the Company

This hotel is situated within 34 acres of the beautiful Berkshire countryside in the village. The hotel is the perfect setting for exclusive and sophisticated Weddings and Events. 

Their permanent marquees are situated within the hotel's grounds, which allows for glamorous and exclusive entertaining. Their team has over 25 years of experience and makes sure your event is everything you planned it to be and more!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering and filtering incoming calls
  • Keeping event website listings up to date
  • Assisting the Sales Director in finalising corporate event details with the client
  • Delivering successful events
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Chasing payments and contracts
  • Venue Show arounds
  • Christmas party event management

Required Skills:

  • Applicant must have basic knowledge of Outlook email, excel and Word
  • Have your own transport
  • This is a full-time/40-hour-per-week role with mostly office hours, but there will be some event work during peak times
