Event Executive

CantelloTayler Recruitment are recruiting for an Event Executive to join an organisation based in Bagshot, Berkshire. This is a super entry level opportunity for someone who is looking to develop a career within events. Office based, salary up to £25,000 per annum.

Event Executive responsibilities:

  • Support the event team in the management of a variety of corporate and private client events including conferences, social events, flagship charity events, smaller meetings and private parties
  • Research suitable venues both in the UK and internationally
  • Support the event team in designing and preparing event proposals
  • Assist with pre-event logistics
  • Potential to be onsite to assist with the delivery of a successful event

Event Executive required skills and experience:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn - training and support will be given
  • A team player
  • Proactive and assertive attitude - you don’t mind suggesting new ideas or approaches
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High personal standards and values with a smart and professional appearance
  • Thrives on variety and working on different events at the same time
  • Able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
  • Good understanding of the events business
  • Previous experience in events and/or hospitality desirable but not critical
  • This role would be suitable for someone who has recently graduated from university or someone who is looking to embark on a career in events
