European Road Freight Sales Coordinator

Our client, a Freight Forwarder, based in London Gateway Logistics Park, is seeking an European Roadfreight Operator to join their team.

An understanding of export groupage is required, also experience in trailer planning, on European groupage services, not solely UK, would be beneficial. 

European Road Freight Sales Coordinator duties include: 

• Working within a department of 8 people, and part of a wider team.
• Handling European groupage services.
• Responsible for own quotations and bookings, as well as supporting the wider sales team. 
• Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers. 

Skills required: 

• Must have a good understanding of European road freight, at least 2 years' experience.
• Capable of manually calculating costs and charges.
• Understanding of taxable kilos.
• Good customer service skills.
• Experience with Customs paperwork.
• Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.

The working hours for this European Road Freight Sales Coordinator position is Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm.

In return, the successful European Road Freight Sales Coordinator will be offered a salary in line with their experience.
