European Finance Director

A highly acquisitive, fast growing private equity backed business are looking to newly appoint a European Finance Director reporting into the Group CFO. This position will manage a large international team and will oversee the day to day running of the European finance teams, while getting involved with various projects including an ERP implementation and a team restructure.

Required in order to succeed in the role:

• Qualified accountant - ACA or ACCA
• Strong technical background and knowledge
• Experience in a European/international finance environment in a lead role
• Experience consolidating results across an international territory
• Well acquainted with complex businesses going through periods of change
• Experience managing transformations and change management programmes, including system implementations
• Able to lead, develop, and motivate a cross-functional, international finance team
• A proactive, independent individual who will bring perspective and knowledge

Desirable but not essential:

• Private equity experience would be beneficial
• A good understanding of international tax

This will be a largely remote role although there will be a need for European travel.
