We are currently supporting a Regional Highways and Utilities Services Provider based in South Devon who are in urgent requirement of an Estimator to join their busy Commercial team.
Currently they cover a large radius to include a number of staffed depots across Devon.
Projects include Highways and Utility Maintenance, improvements, resurfacing as well as construction.
As an organisation they are thriving within the South West having recently secured a number bids to deliver a high number of local authority water treatment, and utility replacement schemes.
As the Estimator you will be joining and working alongside an experienced team.
On offer is the opportunity to interact with long established clients to ensure their needs are met while facilitating the companies continued wealth and growth.
Due to the nature of the role its essential that you have experience within utilities, preferably in water & sewage and the public sewer network.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, and have the ability to, undertake the following key activities and responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include reviewing project plans, liaising with clients and stakeholders, visiting work sites.
You will need to work well under pressure as you will often work to tight deadlines when working on a tender. You will also require strong analytical skills in order to provide accurate estimates, and use a range of computer software to collate and analyse data.
