My client is seeking a skilled Roof Tiling/Slating Estimator to join there team in Lewes. The ideal candidate will be thoroughly knowledgeable about the refurbishment market and possess the ability to conduct site surveys and prepare estimates independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough site surveys for roof tiling and slating projects.
• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for refurbishment projects.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Analyze project requirements and specifications to ensure precise cost calculations.
• Utilize expertise in roof tiling and slating to provide informed recommendations and solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing to maintain competitiveness.
• Monitor project costs and timelines, identifying areas for improvement and cost control.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Estimator, preferably within the refurbishment market.
• Understanding of roofing materials, techniques, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in conducting site surveys and preparing estimates independently.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
