Excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established company based in Dundee

The Company

They work within the Domestic and commercial M&E market. Their Business is very customer focused and the ideal candidate must be adaptable to suit their Business and client’s needs.

This would be an ideal position for an experienced Estimator/Quantity surveyor looking for a new challenge, to have more autonomy with their work and to become an integral part of a strong team.

Duties

  • Analyse documentation to prepare time, cost, and labour estimates for projects
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors to ensure accuracy of estimates
  • Evaluate materials, labour, and equipment required for each project
  • Identify and quantify cost factors such as materials, labour, and overhead
  • Prepare and maintain a cost database for future reference

Must have

  • Qualified Electrician
  • Demonstrable experience within Electrical Estimating
  • Relevant Qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Ability to carry out Surveying duties on projects
  • Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Salary D.O.E

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Experience: Estimating: 3 years (Required)

Licence: Driving (Required)
