Were seeking an experienced Estimator to estimate the selling costs of all packaging items produced in conjunction with the Purchasing Manager.

Join a family-run packaging manufacturing firm with more than 75 years experience, spanning three generations!

Our clients company was originally founded to reuse corrugated boxes after WW2 staying focused on encouraging and providing greener alternatives, using renewable and sustainable sources, as well as recycled materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating of selling prices for manufactured items and bought in goods using a bespoke piece of software to assist.
  • Providing administrative support to our production departments including creating bill of materials, generating work orders for manufactured items, etc whilst proactively supporting process improvement.
  • Be able to work to deadlines and work under pressure, multi-tasking to adjust priorities to ensure customer demands are satisfied.
  • Ensure knowledge of industry standards, developments, and new products are kept up to date.
  • Maintain tidiness of both virtual and physical work areas.
  • Ensure accurate and systematic storage of files and accurate completion of all relevant documentation at each stage in the estimating process.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Previous experience in technical estimating
  • Confident using computer software
  • Able to work to deadlines
